The University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, Alabama, seeks applications for the newly created position of Clery Act Compliance Coordinator. This position collaborates with various offices and areas of campus as well as external agencies to ensure campus-wide monitoring and compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and any associated regulations. Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience; OR Master's degree and one (1) year of experience. Three years of experience in campus safety, compliance and/or higher education. Must be able to work outside of normal work hours; Must be able to attend meetings/training Skills sessions/conferences is various on and off campus locations. Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of constituencies; Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently; Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse constituents; Ability to independently research and synthesize highly complex policy and procedural matters; Ability to perform detailed work with accuracy; Strong project management, written communication and organizational skills. Preferred Qualification: Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience. A minimum of three years of Clery Act compliance experience and/or an advanced degree in a related field such as criminal justice, law (J.D.) or higher education administration is preferred.
